Make up Artists

Im using my normal hairstylist who also does makeup and she keeps pushing me back on booking lol. My wedding is I'll finally be nailing her down for the date at my next appt in June. It's never too early to start reaching out and asking questions if you like their work.

With any vendor, I think the sooner you book them, the better, especially if you have a specific person in mind. If you wait too long, the vendor you want might end up being booked by someone else. Since your wedding is October 2023, I don't think you need to rush to book someone today, but I would probably start looking around now and getting an idea of the options available and what their costs are. Also look at photos of their work and find ones whose work you love. You could ask your top 1-3 favorites to put your date on a soft hold for a couple weeks while you decide.

Hi Lisa, thank you for the advice! I often get caught up and feel as though I have to complete everything today haha. But I like the idea of finding the top 2 or 3 and make the decision from there. I found one so far, but I'll keep looking for two more just in case. Thank you so much!

I also get super into planning and wanted to get as much done as early as possible. If you're able to book a vendor this far out then I say go for it. If there's a particular one you're interested in but they aren't booking yet, set a calendar reminder for whenever they say they'll be open to booking for your date so you can contact them as soon as you can.

I booked mine a year out

I booked my MUA like 10 months in advance 😂😂 I’m getting married in September and it was the first thing besides the venue that I booked lol
