Hi! Got married in Los Angeles on 09/24/23 and mailed my marriage license within the 10 days with all the signatures, now what? I purchased the newlywed name change thing, but I can't change anything without the certificate... how long did it take for you to get yours?
Also -- getting a certified copy how did you do it? I included a check and application with my license, but my application to request for a certified copy is with my new last name (I had asked the online customer service lady) but I had to get it notarized, and the notary guy WOULD NOT sign it with my new last name, I had to sign it with my old last name because my driver's license isn't changed yet (which I cannot do without my marriage certificate). You get the issue...
