OMG we made it to the single digit countdown!! I'm getting married on Saturday, 8/13 and it is INSANE. I haven't been around in a few months because things got weirdddddd in life and at work but here we are 😅
With 9 days to go, here's my general schedule through Wedding Weekend!
(for reference, we're having a small destination wedding in California even though we live in Kansas)
Thursday 8/4
- Therapy 😶 Y'all, God bless FH, my momma, and my bridesmaids for helping me attempt to keep my ish together, but there's only so much a girl with chronic anxiety can handle on her own
- Boob lift tape option 1 arrives 😂 My dress has a decent amount of support, but I've got granny boobies and that's totally okay, but not the look I'm going for rn
Friday 8/5
- Pick up dress 👗 I went in last week for my final fitting (see below 😍) and we decided my dress needed two more bustle points, so my seamstress is adding those before I pick up my dress!
- Get rings cleaned 💍 The seamstress is also right next to a local jewelry store who will clean rings fo freeeeeee so I'm going to drop my rings off for cleaning!
Saturday 8/6
- Final hair trim and color 💇🏼♀️ I originally had this appointment for last week, but FH got COVID... He's in perfect health now and we're well within the 10 day window suggested by the CDC for travel!
Sunday 8/7
- Trip to Ulta for restocks 💄
- Afternoon by the pool for some final tanning 🌞 (but also because poolside reading is superior and my neighborhood pool closes the day after the wedding)
Tuesday 8/9
- Brow wax + tint; bikini wax; pedicure; nails 💅🏼 big day of beauty, but it is what it is!
Wednesday 8/10
- TIME TO FLY TO CALIIIIIII 🛫
Thursday 8/11
- Marriage license appointment
- Visit to local yarn store 🧶
- Pick up FSIL from airport
- Beach ceremony location walkthrough 🌊
- Dinner with my dadddd
Friday 8/12
- LET THE FESTIVITIES BEGINNNN 🎉🎉
- Beach chair and umbrella reservations at The Del all day courtesy of my dad 💛
- Welcome dinner
Saturday 8/13
- WEDDING DAY OMG 👰🏼
- Bridal brunch
- HMU
- getting ready + first look
- CEREMONY
- reception at restaurant
Sunday 8/14
- Might go to brunch with some guests, who knows 🥂
- Day of relaxing at the beach or at the hotel pool
- S'mores at a fire pit on the beach in the evening! 🔥
Monday 8/15
- Kayaking for 2
- Most guests leave
- More relaxing
Tuesday 8/16
- Time to go home 😭
