Looking for wedding venue recommendations (with southern charm, but no barns please!)

I had my heart completely set on The Taylor Grady House in Athens, Georgia which is leased by the Junior League of Athens. The property is beautiful and I was wanting to do an outdoor wedding there with a tent. I’ve come to find out that they are not booking events there beyond June 30, 2022 due to negotiations with the city regarding their lease. My date is TBD but will either be in September or October of 2022. I was told to check back in a few months to see if they are able to accommodate me but honestly I don’t know if waiting a few months is ideal. I’d like to have my venue booked ASAP. What I’m wondering is if anyone knows if there is anything similar to this venue in the southern region of the US. Or really anything that would allow me to have a tent on-site as I would like to do an outdoor wedding. I just love the architecture style of The Taylor Grady House and wanted to have an outdoor ceremony facing the house with an outdoor reception. I’ve seen similar venues in GA but proximity from hotels was an issue for the others. I am open to recommendations so please send them my way! 😊

Take a look at eventective.com or the website for the local parks department. Usually blank slate venues that allow you to bring in your own catering have the most design freedom.

Hi Christina! The Taylor Grady House is incredibly beautiful, but I also understand your desire to lock down a venue!!
The Piedmont Room in Atlanta has a different look architecturally, but they have a gorgeous tented garden venue! 😍
Naylor Hall, Flint Hill, The Hazlehurst House, Primrose Cottage, Victoria Belle Mansion and Vintage White Barn, Payne-Corley House, Carl House, Vines Mansion & Gardens, Ogletree Estates, and Sanctuary Estate all have the same stunning white mansion look! ✨

Hi Christina!! If you want, you can take a look at our venue in Commerce, Ga! It's called White Fox Cottage! They have a website, but can also be found on instagram where they have more photos of the venue space! It's not the same southern architecture as The Taylor Grady House, but it does have this polished southern cottage feel!
There are several spaces to get married at outside, and it has a large space inside for the reception! I've included a photo of what it looks like from the outside!
