Looking for venue for 35-40 people

Has anyone rented a large house and where? I'm lost. We don't want the venue to be at a restaurant, barn, golf course, small hotel, nowhere near downtown Madison or Fitchburg. Community centers are outdated or in not camera friendly areas. Alcohol will be served. No children. Eloping is sadly not an option. Looking for something within 30 mile radius of Madison area.

    I know this is a bit of an older post but, Schwoegler Park towne lanes is on the west side of Madison. They Have a down stairs room with a bar that would be a perfect size for that many people. Its also close to Elver park which has some good spots for pictures. They also have a good sized room up stairs with a small bar.
