Looking for a forest wedding venue under 2k in California.

Alexis, on March 5, 2021 at 5:09 PM Posted in California Planning 2 8

Hi my partner and I love the outdoors. We would love to get married surrounded by beautiful trees, but can't seem to find a venue under $8k and we would like to keep our budget in between $10k-15K. If we have to have it at state park/national park wedding does anyone know of wedding coordinators for them? I am feeling very overwhelmed finding and venue. Or creating one from scratch with a national/state park venue.

Hi Alexis! Is there a specific part of California you're looking at? And about how many guests are you hoping to invite??

Elings Park in Santa Barbara has an affordable rental rate and is a really pretty outdoor venue and The Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden in Pasadena looks gorgeous!!

You should also check out Hicksville Pines Bud & Breakfast, SkyPark Weddings, The 1909, Double Eagle Resort and Spa in June Lake, Wildwood Acres in Lafayette, The Ranch at Little Hills in San Ramon, Highlands House and Park in Ben Lomond, Saratoga Springs, and Mountain House Estate in Cloverdale.

We love in Sacramento, so we are leaning toward a northern California wedding. And we will probably have 50-75 guests.

Wow, this is a great lists, Thank you!

I live in Northern Cali, Humboldt County. We are surronded by BEAUTIFUL redwood trees and I've seen beautiful weddings held in the middle of the of the redwoods.

Here's a link to some locations. Also I'm not sure of this too far North for you or not!

Hi! Yes, we did! We got married in Apple Hill at a venue called High Sierra Iris! It was a beatiful venue, and very reasonably priced. With tall trees all around and these beautiful white stairs amongst all the greenery that makes for quite the entrance. Highly recommend. Then in the winter part of their property is a Christmas tree farm. So now my husband and I visit the venue and stop by where we got married when we go get our Christmas tree. https://weddingsnflowers.com/
