Loeb Boathouse Central Park Closing

Oh no!! I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. Have you called the Boathouse to see what their plans are for events that are already scheduled? If they don't think they'll be able to honor your contract could they assist you in finding you another venue?

I’m supposed to be getting married there August 2023. We were also told they would have more information for us in a week. I’ve read that they are going to honor 2022 contracts but are uncertain for 2023. Sadly my fiance and I are starting to look at backup venues. The Boathouse has always been my dream wedding. Holding out hope but trying to be realistic at the same time.

Oh no! I was just reading about this in the newspaper I think it said they d be having weddings up until the end of the yr but anything after 1/1/23 was cancelled. In the article there were couples talking about their experience one was set to get married oct 2022 and while technically they still could her wedding planner advised against it the reasoning being you just don't know how much of the staff and chefs will actually still be there. Such a headache, do you know what you plan on doing? Best of luck to you!
