Let’s see those second dresses!! 1
How many of you are planning on doing a wardrobe change (or multiple changes) for your wedding? Will you be wearing another wedding dress? Or are you opting for some thing more non-traditional, like a party dress or jumpsuit? I’d love to see pictures of what everyone is wearing!

I wore two dresses! I didn't intend to at first, but my original dress needed major alterations, and I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. So when we postponed due to COVID, I bought a second dress as a backup, with the intent of wearing it at just the reception if the original dress turned out well (since my original dress has a long and gorgeous train that would be a major pain to bustle, and I really wanted to wear that dress for the ceremony). If the original dress didn't turn out well, then I'd wear the backup dress the whole night.

I LOVE how my ceremony/original dress turned out:Let’s see those second dresses!! 2

I actually don't have a non-professional photo that fully shows my reception/backup dress on the wedding day, but here's a photo from the day I picked it up. The train on this dress stayed bustled for the whole night:Let’s see those second dresses!! 3

I wore two dresses as well and one jumpsuit. I know it’s unpopular opinion to do so especially according to US Custom but in ours this what you do.

I think it’s becoming much more popular in the U.S.! I know some people feel strongly about not wanting to “waste” money on a second dress, but I think it’s totally worth it to feel comfortable all night!

The train and the lace pattern were honestly what sold me on the dress in the first place, I just *had* to have that train for the ceremony!

Hi Congratulations its depends if your wanting to stay in your wedding dress throught the whole day also you are when dancing. On some videos that I have seen the bride keep pulling up there dress. I don't want to have that problems. So I will have to think about it but I do have another dress and that my bridal team will talk me into it. What kind of wedding dress do you have If it's too heavy then whatever choice that you decide. Will be ok either way just have a great day

I loved my dress too much to get a second one. I still want more excuses to wear it. I told my husband I'm going to wear it on every anniversary. I might even do our half anniversary :-)

Honestly I think I did too good of a job on picking my dress to consider a second one 😂

It has a gorgeous dramatic train for the ceremony, but once it's bustled it's really easy to move around and dance in. I think if I got a second one it would be too similar to my current one to justify the cost 😂

I really wanted to change into a jumpsuit, however, I stayed in my dress all night. I’m glad I did because I know it would have been a challenge getting the dress off lol 😆

I wore two dresses, a lace fit and flare gown with a long train and illusion lace bodice for our ceremony and a silk slip dress with spaghetti straps for dancing. Our wedding celebration was postponed due to Covid, so I decided to get a second dress so I'd have a "surprise" look for my husband since he already saw my first dress.

I don't exactly regret having a second dress but I do wish I had picked a different second outfit than the one I wore. I absolutely LOVED my ceremony dress - it was stunning and fit me so well. My second dress by comparison was a bit less flattering IMO, and even though it was more comfortable for dancing, I wish I had found a dress that I loved equally as much as my ceremony dress. I don't really care for any of the photos from our wedding taken after I changed because my second dress just missed the mark for me.
