If you missed it and want to see some views shared recently, there is some discussion on the bouquet and garter toss here:

We were rejecting it but still considering it again.

I skipped both the bouquet toss and garter! I did not replace them with anything either.

We skipped both - we don't know that many single people. As Lisa said, they don't need replaced with anything - frankly, I'm not sure anyone really misses them.

We skipped both (we only had a few single people of both genders) and no one missed them. We did an anniversary dance in place and we had a couple family friends who had been married 60 years, they gave us marriage advice at the end of the dance.

We’re skipping both. The garter toss just makes us uncomfortable and then I always felt awkward at the bouquet toss at weddings I’ve attended so we decided against them. Plus we’re trying to avoid being the center of attention as much as possible so the less things like that, the better, in our opinion!

We skipped both of them. Instead, we did an anniversary dance and I gave the toss bouquet to my husband’s grandma, as his grandparents had been married the longest. They gave us some marriage advice as well. We knew beforehand that they would be the longest married couple and it was a sweet way to include them in the day a bit more.

Not planning on doing a garter toss but I do plan on wearing one as my something blue for him to find later!!

I might do a stuffed animal toss or something instead of a bouquet toss and have it be all the gals and then all the guys or something like that. Or just one stuffed animal for everyone.

We are skipping both. The garter toss is gross and I didn’t want to get another bouquet or throw the one I am going to carry. Also none of our friends are single lol so we thought it was pointless honestly lol

I didn't do either. I've never seen one at a real wedding, only in movies

🙋🏻‍♀️ We did. I didn’t need to have all eyes on me more than needed. And no one asked about it

I have been to a lot of weddings that left out one or both. it's common actually!

I skipped the entire garter thing entirely and didn’t wear one at all.

I'm still indecisive about the bouquet toss, leaning more towards of keeping it and doing something really special with it. But I now for sure I'm not doing the garter toss. I always thought it was extremely weird having your husband go under your dress in front of your parents.

Skipping both. It’s a 2nd wedding for us both, so wanted simple, streamlined, and to do whatever we want this time around (unlike listening to a lot of parents, family, etc.. the first time around).

We definitely did. That has never been an element of weddings I have been into.
