Just venting. My wedding is on Friday. I have kept vendors at a minimum for my wedding. The biggest of which is the restaurant where we're hosting our reception. My vendor emailed me yesterday saying that the pastry chef will not be at the restaurant during our reception and that we needed to decide if we were going to pre-slice the cake and pie we ordered (they're doing it in-house). If we did that we wouldn't be able to do the whole cake cutting thing. But not only that but she didn't think that there'd be enough to go around with the updated numbers we gave her. Ok, not that big a deal, I ordered another cake. There goes $40. I'm a little irked though that it takes a pastry chef to cut a cake and pie. Pastry is their specialty and one of the reasons we chose this place.
Then I called the salon to update numbers because half the people who said they wanted their hair done decided they didn't. There's a 3 hour minimum notice requirement and I'm calling days before to cancel 3. The woman hung up on me and was super rude! So now I'm debating if I should do my own hair and cancel with the rude salon but it's supposed to be really humid on Friday. And my hair is wavy so it'll frizz all over the place if I do it myself.
