Lanterns

I'm actually doing the same for my wedding in December. We're using lanterns along the aisle and then they are being put in with the rest of our centerpieces. We're having shepherds hooks made (my future father in law is making them) to go along the aisle. We're having them at every other row, with (fake) candles on the ground as well and rose petals as the "runner" down the aisle. I'm still toying with adding greenery to them as well.

I found these lanterns (which are battery operated and come with the candle inside already) on Amazon! I ended up buying 18 of them and I want to say I spent less than $200 for all 18. They are 10 inches high. They have a nice amber glow to them when they are on.

This was his first try on the hooks (way way waaaay too low to the ground and he's going to be adding some scroll work to them) but I think they are gonna look great. We're having some of the aunts be in charge of grabbing the lanterns after the ceremony and placing them on the tables that are missing them.
