Kids scavenger hunt

Since it's non-traditional, what are some of the things you won't be having and what will you have? I think having those for context would help because I automatically think of looking for the wedding cake, flowers, officiant, wedding veil, things like that.

You could even get things to hide throughout your wedding for them to search for! Like little animal figurines or something? Each one can have a clue to direct the kids on where to search?

The first thing I thought of was could you do a photo scavenger hunt? Have the kids take pictures with disposable cameras (do they still make those lol) of different things around the venue and that way it's easy to pick specifics to your day, but they don't have to be physical things they can grab?

Hmmm... what's untraditional; no flowers - at all, no veil, I'm wearing cowboy boots, no bouquet will be present at the reception, officiant is grooms sister, no bouquet/garter toss, no F/D, M/S dances, wedding party is primarily made up of our kids. There will be a cake though, and at a minimum there will be a pineapple hidden somewhere in the venue, as we play a hide the pineapple game at home with a glass pineapple haha

I like SHY's approach of thinking through what will be included in your wedding! You could definitely include the cake, a pineapple, and cowboy boots on the list!! 🍍
