Kansas August Brides are you feeling??


It honestly hadnt crossed my mind until tonight, about what IF we can’t have it. We moved from May date to August. My mind is still ok at this moment much better then it was back in March.
Hoping and praying we can still have our August wedding

    I'm sorry you've already moved your date once before. It's understandable that you'd be worried about your new date. Was it relatively easy to postpone the first time from May to August? Is your venue working with you? Do they have any advice?

    The general consensus for August weddings is that couples should continue to monitor the situation and try to make a decision by the end of May. Or, if you would feel relieved to reschedule for a later date, you should consider postponing sooner for peace of mind. Unfortunately, it's a waiting game right now.

    Are your guests traveling by air to attend? If so, have you contacted any of your out-of-town guests to see what they think? If they're feeling uncomfortable about travel by next month (May), that could be an issue that you'd want to consider. I've read that people book airfare about 90 days in advance on average.
