Make sure you ask your venue what your pandemic number is. If you do this no matter what you have enough room if you plan for that number instead of their max number. If anything you can add more but cutting people is harder.

Hi Katie! Since this has been going for awhile now, vendors have become really knowledgeable about the challenges and will definitely let you know if there are things to be aware or cautious of!!

The easiest way to plan so far in the pandemic has been to keep your guest list low - but guest capacity limits have already become less of an issue. I've linked a few articles and discussions below from other Covid brides that have great advice you should check out:

We kept it small, provided masks, had an outdoor ceremony and tented reception. For the ceremony, our groomsmen and bridesmaids entered single file so folks wouldn't feel uncomfortable about being paired with someone they just met. If you're thinking about having readers, ask about mic covers from whoever is providing your audio equipment. And since we did cake boxes for guests to take home, we offered individually wrapped forks.

We took one day at a time. We had talked to our venue about how many people were allowed and the precautions they/we were taking to have our wedding. We also prepared ourselves that everyone may not come because of the pandemic. We also talked to our vendors like dj and photographers who did a great job in meeting our needs. I think the key was communication and knowing what could be and work through it. By the end our planning for our wedding, we a beautiful wedding
