July isn’t typically the best weather. March-December are the best months for the islands.

Check out Aruba! It's a gorgeous Caribbean island and technically a desert, so they don't get much rain and they are outside of the hurricane belt.

Hurricane season is typically from June to nov.

We honeymooned at the Grande St Lucian and it was AMAZING. Highly recommended! It’s beautiful, relaxing, romantic, and has literally everything you need. The country is beautiful as well if you are able to leave the resort to enjoy some day trips or excursions.

I agree with Aruba if you want to avoid the possibility of rain. If the chance of rain doesn't bother you (which won't be all the time, maybe spotty showers hopefully), St. Lucia is GORGEOUS!

I don’t think visiting a tropical island during the monsoon is a great ideal. Winters and autumns are the best months to experience everything the island has to offer.
