Japan Honeymoon

That seems a bit extreme. Was the 300 for the entire trip while you're there and was that 300 US or Yen?

Japan is meant to be such a beautiful country! I’m sure you will both have the most wonderful time there! How long are you planning on staying there for? Are you hoping to visit anywhere else in Asia?

Japan is known for being quite an expensive country and rail passes are renowned for being pricey. Have you got a rough itinerary written out for what you want to do while you are there? You should weigh up the pros and cons of traveling by rail to see if it is worth the money for you.

$300 for the JR pass for 7 days ... But I just found out that there is another pass that's cheaper because the $300 is if I go outside of Tokyo, which I'm not.

We plan to stay for 8 nights / 9 days. We plan to only stay in Tokyo (Shibuya is where we stay and plan to go to Shinjuku, Harajuku, etc).

& We really just wanna go shopping because we LOVE their streetwear there. So far, we expect to spend about $6,000 ... But I feel like this is super expensive!

We're extremely into anime and their streetwear so we planned to only stay within Tokyo (like Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku)! We are so excited but we're worried we won't have enough to go.

I went to Tokyo, Japan for my honeymoon. If you're only going to be travelling in and staying in the Tokyo area like to Shibuya and shinjuku, etc then you just need a Pasmo or suica card for public transportation. Those are reloadable cards and you can get refunded whatever you don't use. It can also be used at many stores. It can be used for buses and subways and trains, I believe. The Jr pass really is just meant for if you plan to go to like Kyoto or Osaka or whatever outside of tokyo prefecture.

Hotel - $1,500

Pocket Money - $1,500

It's just the cost is a little out of our range lol but we wanna make it work.
