My brother ordered his wife’s engagement ring from there. My fiancé almost got my diamond from there until he finally found the perfect one. It is 100% legit. From what we learned, jewelry dealers around the world list their inventory. When you buy a diamond, it first gets sent to the James Allen gemologists who then assess that the stone is exactly as listed. They come with GIA certification too.


When I was looking at stones, the JamesAllen rep talked me into a cheaper stone because it was better quality. They have no loyalty to the sellers and just want happy customers.
I went with a jeweler for my band because I didn’t love anything on James Allen. But I wouldn’t question their credibility or quality.

I bought 3 rings from them, returned 2 without any issues and got all my money back. I just bought a wedding band but will be purchasing another soon. They actually have partnered with Jared so they have about 6 rings at Jared stores. Also, James Allen actually has brick and morter stores. Here's the band I bought.
