Is your ceremony and reception at the same location?

Everything will be at the same venue. The ceremony will be in half of the ballroom, cocktail hour will be in the concourse area while the ballroom is being flipped. Then reception will be in the full ballroom. We do not have a set after party just yet, but sure we’ll end up downtown somewhere.


Ultimately that’s why we chose our venue one stop shop. How about you?

Our venue held both our ceremony and our reception, though our ceremony was outdoor, and the reception was indoor/outdoor (using a different outdoor space than the ceremony, though still on site).

Same location! Ceremony was outside and then reception was in the ballroom.

We used the same venue for both the ceremony and the reception. The ceremony was in an outdoor courtyard, and the reception was in a private room. Personally, I dislike weddings that have separate locations; it’s just really inconvenient to guests. So we made sure to find a single venue that could host both.

Same location! Beach for ceremony and attached restaurant patio deck for reception. That was key for our ve ue shopping - one stop for all. Most of our guests had to fly to the wedding. I didn't want to add the stress of finding 2 different locations to their day.

Same general location, different buildings. We had a wedding chapel, then there was a reception hall next door with a walkway between them.

Meet a certain guest count! 2nd floor for ceremony then to the 3rd for cocktail hour. Then back to the 2nd floor for the reception!

I am using the same location just in different areas! The ceremony will be right outside the building the reception will be in! I wanted an outdoor ceremony but with it being in July I knew it would get too hot for some people so I also wanted an inside area for people to cool off! The building ended being perfect for that and all the reception needs!

Yes outdoor and then in a barn for reception

So I am having an backyard wedding on my fiances family farm... we are having the ceremony down by the barn and then the reception will be up near his dad's house since that's where it's the most flat and will fit all our guests

We would like to do them at the same location if possible
