Is March in Kansas City too cold for a wedding?

Trying to figure out the most ideal month in spring for Kansas City. Any insight from past March brides would be much appreciated!

I think you need to consider a few things, including: Are you hoping to have an outdoor event? What are the average temperatures for March in Kansas City?

If you're hoping to have an outdoor event, I wouldn't have it in March if the average temperatures fall below about 65. Personally, I'm not really that comfortable outdoors in dress clothing unless it's in the 70s - but I tend to be cold. Also, if you're having an evening event, remember the temperatures will drop rapidly after the sun sets.

If you're having an indoor event a lot of this is irrelevant.

    Agree with Becky,

really depends on your venue. Seasons are shifting due to climate change so it's very possible that in March you could get snow in KC. If youre planning on doing the vast majority, except maybe a handful of photos, indoors then you dont really need to worry about temp. If you want outdoor, I would think about pushing it much later into May even. April can even be tricky these past few years with temperatures and the potential for snow.
