Invitations question

Bree, on June 24, 2019 at 3:05 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5
I clearly have never done wedding invites before and don't know how to ensure our guest will utilize our wedding website and if I should include accomodations need to be made by October 11th. I'll have my final RSVP count done hopefully by then but don't want to clutter up my invite. I've attached pics of our invitation and RSVP. Please please tell me if I should word or format something differently!

It’s a lovely invitation! Is “reception to follow” on a separate card? Also, you misspelled the words “accommodation” and “requested.”

Lol geeze I must of overlooked the requested...and I'll admit I'm not good for accommodations. But thank you for catching that!

I think you're fine with how the invitations are. People should be adults and figure out they need to get hotels reserved by October 11th.

I think if you don't receive RSVPs back by the October 1 deadline you can reach out and ask people if they plan on attending, and kindly remind them of the date.

We also sent separate texts/ messages to people out of town to remind them of the date.

I think your invitations look good! I think if you want to include the Oct 11 date for accommodations, I would put that at the top of that particular page on your website. All of our rooms need to be booked by a certain date in September in order for our guests to receive the group rate. As other PPs have pointed out, you could also send a reminder text/email to everybody who RSVPd to make sure they book their rooms by the group rate date.
