Invitations and Tips

Chelsea, on December 9, 2019 at 12:06 AM Posted in Planning 3 6

Invitations and Tips 1Invites are all addressed, stamped, and filled out! Here are some tips I found while while doing them: do it like an assembly line with your SO, doing one thing like putting the return address label and the other doing stamps is much faster and makes it less likely you’ll forget something. Also, it’s super time consuming but number your RSVP cards and put those numbers in a spreadsheet with the name of the person/family you’re sending it to, so when you inevitably get back an RSVP with no name you know who it belongs to. If you have heavy invites make sure you weight them so you put the right amount of stamps on there! We would have had all of ours returned if we hadn’t weighed it and realized we needed two stamps. Most importantly before you seal the envelopes do a quality control check to make sure you have correct spelling, addresses, invites and return envelopes w/ stamps etc. inside before sealing and sending. Overall it was super time consuming but also exciting because it means the wedding is getting close!

One thing I found out while buying stamps at the post office. If the little RSVP cards are in an envelope it’s considered .55 like a regular card size. Did this happen to anyone else?
