Inexpensive Wedding Options in nj

Hi! I recently got engaged and I just started looking at places to host our wedding reception. I'd love to stay between $8-$10k for 80 people (this would include any site fees, food, beverage, etc) this total wouldn't include the full budget (dress, photographer, dj, etc). I am open to any place, doesn't have to be a taditional wedding venue, a restaurant or outdoor option would be great as well. Any ideas on places that are within that price point? I'm also flexibile on the day of the week, I would prefer a Friday over Sunday but I know Saturday will be the most expensive.

I'm thinking anywhere in NJ as well! TIA Smiley smile

    I'm doing my wedding at the Deserted Village Masker's Barn in Berkeley Heights NJ. There is an arbor and a restored old barn right there. You have to get catering etc... and it's all on you but it was only like 640 for two days rental and then food is right now only 4K but we will most likely add to that...

    Hi catherine! Have you taken a look at any country clubs in the area? Sometimes they'll have very reasonable rates! Take a look at the venues at The Newark Museum of Art, Atrium of Tenafly, The Graycliff, The Manor in West Orange, The Elan Catering and Events, Grill350, or off-peak times at Art Factory Studios in Paterson.

    On the shore - The Grand Hotel of Cape May has gorgeous views, and you should also reach out to Flanders Hotel for pricing. Women's Civic Club of Stone Harbor just has a rental fee and you can hire your caterer separately, and The Inn at Salem Country Club also has some of the most affordable pricing I've seen!

    Thank you for these ideas! I will definitely look into these. Some more affordable options I've come across are the bridgewater manor and 618 in freehold as well
