Inexpensive nh Wedding Venues

Avery, on September 5, 2020 at 10:16 AM Posted in New Hampshire Planning 0 11

Hello! I am looking for venues in NH that are not expensive. I am hoping for $1000 or under. Does anyone have any suggestions? We are looking for September/October of next year, so no rush. Smiley smile

Is there a banquet hall/event space in a community center in your town that would be available in your price range? Otherwise, you can likely get a permit to host your event at a park (either for free or low cost). Also check the Venue tab on Wedding Wire.

Do you want that to include food? Also, venues might be limited next year because of a lot of people postponing due to Covid. The time of year you have selected is also a popular time to get married so you should definitely try to find a venue ASAP.

Hi! That does not have to include food. I know! We just got engaged a few weeks ago, I have been scrambling to find something that is not too expensive. We could wait a little longer and are willing to if necessary, but if we can find something that is available during our ideal time that would be great.

$1000 is not much for a venue budget, especially if you are looking for a larger space. All of the venues we looked at were easily 4-10x that (80 person wedding).

I would look at parks with pavilions or picnic areas, including state parks and waysides, or perhaps something like an Elks Lodge, Rotary Club, or church hall, or possibly even an AirBnB that allows events. If you are having a smaller wedding a restaurant might be an option as well.

I know I’m late to the party, but if you’re still looking there’s this air BnB in Exeter NH that you can also rent a barn/the 5 acres they have! It’s nice because you can have an all day wedding/hangout if that’s what you wanted for the price of a venue that’s like an hour in most places.... plus you have a studio air BnB right there for your husband and yourself so there’s no need to travel after celebrating your marriage! The place is called the Word Barn. They can have up to 100 people there comfortably and I believe socially distanced which is really nice with covid still being around. I hope this helps and I’m not tooo late to answer! Best of luck and congratulations!!!

Hey Emily! Thanks for the suggestion!

We actually found a barn and field for $1000 with literally no restrictions on what we can do in Warner, NH so we are all set! This sounds so fun though I wish I had known Smiley xd
