Just Said Yes July 2025

Illinois/wisconsin Bachelorette Party

Hi there! I’m getting married July of 2025 and I already want to start thinking of ideas for my bachelorette next spring 🤣

I’ve been to almost 10 bach parties and the one thing that has always bothered me is the price. I have lots of mom friends who are unable to spend the night places and coming up with $200 to spend for a night is crazy to me. I can’t think of any ideas that would be reasonably priced and local. I’m in the Schaumburg area and would be willing to travel up to an hour away. What are some fun wine/brewery ideas that meet these guidelines? Anything helps!

Hi! It's so nice for you to be considerate of your gang. I'd try and post this also on your local board, which is available under the "forums" tab. You may get more responses. Good luck!

It may take a little while before someone more knowledgeable about the area will see this thread. Respond back in a week and that will again bring your question to people's attention.

It's really up to your friends to plan and to offer to organize, all of which is voluntary and optional. but otherwise I agree with you 100%. If you are approached, I'd make your wishes for something local and budget minded very clear.

There are many breweries in that Schaumberg/ Arlington Heights area! You could also see a show at Rosemont, Ravinia, or a theatrical show at Drury Lane. The burbs have a scene all it's own (without Chicago construction traffic) and you could always head south to Naperville or do a day shopping/spa trip in cute towns like St. Charles. Best wishes.

A friend of mine did a margarita cruise on one of Edelweiss Cruises in Milwaukee for her bachelorette. It was fun, a party, cheaper, and not multiple days. If Milwaukee is too far, I'm sure there's got to be something similar in Chicago!
