Hyphenated last name

First post in this forum.

Trying to come up with the wording to use on my invitations. I have previously been married, and I made the mistake of hyphenating my last name. On the invitation should I use my hyphenated name or is it permissible to just use my maiden name?

It’s not a legal document. You can put what you prefer. The only point is to make sure people know who you both are when they get the invitation!
