How to include Bridal Party member remotely?

Anyone have a bridal party member that couldn’t physically make it day of, but you were still able to include in the day somehow? Any pictures, suggestions, tips? My MOH just called me very upset and is very iffy about being able to attend the bachelorette party at the end of the month. Her mom really isn’t doing well and ended up in the hospital again today. She lives on the other side of the country so I completely understand that her being able to the actual wedding may be dependent on how her mom is doing. Would love to have some ideas in my back pocket of how to still include her if it unfortunately does come to that.

    You could have her still give a speech at the reception! Either pre-recorded and you could play the video at your reception, or have her on video chat and she can give the speech live. You also could have the best man walk down the aisle during the ceremony holding a phone that has her on video chat (and she could wear her dress), so that she can still experience the ceremony. You could mail her wedding favors and her thank you gift ahead of time, along with a gift certificate to order in dinner for the night of your wedding. You could also have a flower bouquet delivered to her house on the day of your wedding to act as the bouquet that she would carry down the aisle.

    I've seen a lot of people having them either pre-record or video call and still do their speech from afar. I saw a girl on tiktok had a cardboard cutout of the MOH in her dress so they all posed for pictures with it, she also had her on a video call on an ipad (bigger screen) and took a picture holding it.
