How old is too old for a flower girl?

Justice, on March 3, 2021 at 10:41 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 12
How old is too old for a flower girl? I have one of my cousins as a bridesmaid and I want the other to be in my wedding as well but she’s a little to young to be a bridesmaid and I already have 8 bridesmaids including my MOH and her sister that is a jr bridesmaid.

9/10 is the typical cut off. Can she be a guestbook attendant? Usher? Let her be a guest because not everyone needs to fill a role to be honored.

Honestly today's day and age I really don't think there is an age limit. I've seen full grown men being I guess you would call them flower men lol. I think a flower teen or woman would still be nice

I think it her two sisters are bridesmaids she probably won't want to be a flower girl unless she's really little, like under 8. You could just ask her if she'd prefer to be a flower girl or jr BM and let her decide (That's what I'd do). You already have 8 ppl, what's one more?! lol.

Someonec recently asked if a 16 year old could do it and I say go for it! Any age! The video above was awesome lol. The flower heavens trend was the it thing for a bit. I think if they're comfortable doing it, then lean into it! No cut off

Dang, I'm 34 and I'll do it if the dress is cute. I am NOT so coordinated as the flower dude, fair warning

I don’t really think there’s a cutoff, but when I got engaged a lot of family kept pushing for my would-be-10 year old niece to be a Jr bridesmaid because she was “too old” to be a flower girl. I never really understood that mindset, but I just made her one to make everyone happy

I don't there is age limit for a flower girl. My flower girl is 10. Krystyna that is so sweet to have your grandma as a flower girl. That is a great way to incorporate her in your wedding.

I think age cut offs for this is unnecessary. The flower girl can be any age
