How Long Is Your Engagement?

Eleven months and one day. We got engaged August 19 and married July 20 the following year.

We got engaged in 2019 and based on our original wedding date, our engagement was supposed to be 2 years and 4 months. Instead it was 3 years and 4 months 😅

Almost two years. We got engaged 10/31/2021, and our wedding is 9/5/2023!

We planned for a 2 year engagement. Thanks to covid, it became a 4 year engagement. And thanks to the officiant that didn't show up to at our destination wedding, it will now be a 5 year engagement! 🤦🏼‍♀️

13 months, 7 days! 12/23/21 to 1/30/23

View Quoted Comment Yep. We chose the date 12/31/21 in Nov of 2019, but had to postpone to 12/31/22.

We got engaged June 28th 2022 and will be getting married Sept 16 2023!

View Quoted Comment Mostly smooth with a few hiccups! Our process is a little different, though, because we’re doing a destination wedding at Disney World. So there are some things that are different from other venues, which gets stressful when the usual wedding advice doesn’t apply to us. But some things have been easier, so it balances out haha.

At times it felt like it was WAY too long but I think it was just right!! As its coming up so fast now I feel the pressure, but I can't imagine how much more stressed I would feel if I hadn't had a decent amount of time to get everything settled.

Mine will be a year and two days but it has nothing to do with us planning a wedding since we are eloping. It's because he is several states away and will be retiring before he moves here with me.
