Hi.. everyone !
I just wonder.. after your big day, (or any bride who hire wedding photographer), Dose your photographer told you how long you will receive the photos ?
My wedding photographers told us it should be ready around 2 weeks, and turn out that just Snakepeek. After that.. we have to wait 3 MONTHS !! Anyway... I just very curiosity how long you guys wait for your photos ??
(Ps: I paid deposit too soon, so.. I have no way to back out..)

I received all of our edited photos about 4 weeks. I think you should contact with your photographers again and ask them to do quicker. I guess they have many customers and you are not their priority.

Does your contract with the photographer specify the timing on receiving the final photos? Three months doesn't seem unreasonable or unheard of. I think it took around two months for us to get our wedding photos back. This totally depends on the photographer and their schedule.

Our contract stated 6-8 weeks for final edits. We didn't get a sneak peek at all and received our photos around week 7.

We were told 8 weeks, but it ended up being over 10 weeks. It can also take considerably longer if you get married during popular wedding months (Fall weddings seem to take the longest because it is the most popular time for weddings, so photographers are shooting a ton of them. Plus then you run into multiple holidays during and right after).

That sounds a normal turn around time to me. It takes time to edit photos.

I got my sneak peaks after a week and the full album after a month. That said, your contract states what it states and I wouldn't expect them to change it.

Yes. If they are shooting wedding every weekend, they are busy. It takes time to edit them.

If your photographer is at a wedding every weekend, that doesn't leave a lot of time to edit. They would have prep work to prepare for the wedding and then uploading the phots after the event.
