How do you clean your rings?

I fill a small bowl with hot water and Dawn dish soap, let my ring soak for 5 minutes, gently brush it with a baby toothbrush, rinse it off and dry with a lint-free cloth. Then enjoy the sparkles!

I try to take mine to the jeweler if I can, but if I want a quick clean before an outing I use a soft bristled toothbrush and dawn dish soap! My jeweler assured me that it doesn’t hurt your ring!

I have a pen with solution that I got when I bought my ring and then just run it under water, after it runs out I probably won't get another one will just use dawn.

I use an old toothbrush, dawn dish soap and warm water. Just scrub all the little areas and dry it with a microfiber cloth. It works amazingly and dawn is safe on all that stuff so you don’t have to worry about any chemicals that could react to the metal

I take mine to the jeweler every six months for a good clean and an inspection. In between those, warm water and dawn dish soap, like so many have said!

No cleaning advice, but is that Colvard and Charles ring?
I’m leaning that way but don’t want to just go by their website. You ring is lovely!

My FH had a small portable jewelry cleaner that we use every weekend to clean my ring. ☺️ They are about $40 on Amazon.

I have a aquamarine/diamond ring and first soak it in a warm bath of mild dish soap, after about 15/20 minutes, I use a soft tooth brush to clean all the nooks and crannies. I have been engaged since April 2017, and I've done this the entire time and brought it to get professional cleaned once, and it looks great and shiny!

My original ring was beautiful but was super thin (like 0.8mm) and shared prongs on the band. I lost two stones in less than a month. So they allowed me to return it and get a whole new one made. It took about a month to get my new one, but they literally recasted it from new material, not my old melted down rings. I'm very happy with them, and when I do wear the ring I get tons of compliments!

As you can see in the pictures, my original looked very delicate. As soon as I got it I was nervous the whole thing was going to snap.

I have an ultrasonic cleaner that I dunk mine in with a drop of dish soap.

I worked in a jewelry store 10 years and what works best is warm water and Simple Green in an Ultra Sonic and a steamer to blow all the dirt out. Since moving away ive missed this set up so I got myself a home Ultra Sonic and a little Steamer. They work great! Its takes a little longer than the jewelry store setup but works just as good!

I will be using my jeweler to clean it every 6 months. However, because I do a lot of outdoor activity with my FH I know it gets dirty because of everything in between so I bought their jewelry cleaning kit for times like those. I use it for my other jewelry as well.

No, an ultra sonic should not lossen your stones. If a prong is pulled and there is dirt in the pulled prong and that is "holding" your stone in place that could change after the ultra sonic bath because the dirt is now gone. I still recommend taking your ring to a jewelry store to have them look at the ring to make sure the prongs are still securely holding your stones. The home ultra sonic works well but nothing compares to a jewelry store cleaning

I try to take it back to the jeweler every few months for a free cleaning, but in between those deep cleanings I use the Connoisseurs Jewelry Cleaner at home.

I also have a bling stick I keep in my purse which is great for a little shine on the go! ✨

So I've just been reading this entire thread and realizing more and more things that I apparently just really don't know lol. I am not AT ALL a jewelry person. I wear my engagement ring and then a couple of earrings that literally haven't left my ears since they were pierced in the first place. Cleaning a ring is something I would honestly never think about! Yeah, I do plan to take it to the jeweler's the week of the wedding for a cleaning, but otherwise? It would never cross my mind at all to clean it. So thanks to all of you for your wonderful suggestions! I'm fairly certain we have Dawn dish soap at home, if I ever think about it....
