How did you incorporate religion into your ceremony?

Trying to come up with ways to include LDS and Lutheran roots into my wedding and was curious what others did?

So my FH is atheist, and I wanted to keep a little bit of my Christian heritage. We're having a good friend do a reading st our ceremony. You might also be able to include a unity candle, which isn't necessarily religious in nature.

You could include religious readings or prayers.

Our ceremony is being officiated by my FH's long time family friend who happens to be a Christian Minister & family counselor. We would like our ceremony to be very cut & dry just for the sake of our guests but we're going to have him start the ceremony off with a reading of Corinthians 13. We're also going to have my Uncle, who is also a Christian Minister, say a prayer on mic before everyone gets their dinner.

We are Christian but we didn’t want our ceremony to be that Christian aha so we only had officiant read a bible verse and then do a tiny tiny prayer that was moreso a blessing on our marriage
