Honeymooning in Alaska?

I haven't booked anything in Alaska, but I've traveled there a couple times. It is a great location if you want to be outdoors most of the time! Also, there are many cities that do Alaska train tours which are fun.

We definitely like to be outdoors. Ive never been on a train other than a small field trip as a small child. I hear that they are great to travel on. My fiancé has been there but only for hunting purposes.

We also want to do our honeymoon in Alaska! I’ve been there once when I was younger with family and it was like nothing else. What part(s) are you thinking of going to? We wanted to do a cruise, but with all of the covid stuff going on I’m not sure we will be comfortable doing that, we will have to see where we are at.

A few of my friends went there for their honeymoon and absolutely love it

We love hiking and sight seeing, and have talked about going for vacation and hunting/fishing. Somewhere on the peninsula maybe. I haven’t dug too far into it yet. I feel like if I do then I am committed to going there lol

If not our honeymoon than we will definitely go another time.

We are getting married next winter and since we are not sure how travel will be next year, we also decided to stay in the country and are thinking about Alaska! What better place than Alaska for a winter honeymoon?! My only concern is obviously its going to be freezing and finding the appropriate attire and gear so I won't die. lol Born and raised in Southern California, anything below 72 degrees and I'm cold and needing a jacket! But I am excited about the idea and looking forward to it.

It definitely will be cold, and I would suggest layers lol We keep our house temp at 72 and thats warm! What’s more romantic than dog sledding in beautiful Alaska then cozying up by a fire after!!
