Honeymoon plans

knittingeyedoc, on April 24, 2020 at 3:11 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 6
Our wedding is in January of 2021 and while I'm hopeful our wedding will happen as planned I don't know if we should proceed with honeymoon plans. We had planned on traveling to Barcelona, then the Mediterranean and possibly even north Africa (Casablanca). It all seems so ambitious now. Has anyone else changed their honeymoon plans?

We got married in November but were waiting for the time off and saving up to go to Hawaii this summer. But we decided to cancel and instead just wait until another time. If we have to wait another year, it’s ok. It’s not a priority compared to everything else going on.

I agree. The uncertainty is so high right now. We have shared many great trips as a couple and will have plenty more in our future. We just may have to wait a little longer before enjoying our honeymoon.
Also, congratulations on your November wedding!

Thank you! Good luck to you for January, not that much longer, but hopefully long enough to clear up all this mess!

    Hi, and welcome!

I think if you can hold off on decisions as long as possible, that's the best idea. There's just too much uncertainty.

You should totally explore other options, because back up plans are never a bad idea.

    Good luck!
