Honeymoon Photography

I know this topic has been done but not for the locations I need. We will be starting our 10 day honeymoon in Niagara Falls (Canada) then heading to New York City for the remainder. Our engagement shoot was the first time either of us have ever had professional photos done period as well as together so needless to say, we want more good pictures taken. We are wanting to have honeymoon photos done in both places. Nothing drastic, just 15-20 pictures, 20-30 mins each location. I have done Google searches and even reached out to our hotels for recommendations but have yet to find anyone that doesn't do full on photo shoots which we aren't interested in. Has anyone had any photos done in either place and have a photographer they could recommend? TIA

    Have you looked into flytographer? They have 30 minute packages and I have quite a few friends that have used them on vacations.

    I did. They were the first place I checked. They didn't have any for Niagara Falls and the list for the New York ones is extremely overwhelming. You also have to book on the spot without ever speaking to or seeing any of their work before hand which I am not comfortable with.

    I also looked at Snappr and same thing there. Book on the spot.

    Oh wow. If that ends up being our only options, we will not be having professional photography lol

    Do you use instagram or facebook? I found our engagement photographer via facebook and had been searching hashtags on instagram. Searches like "newyorkphotographer" "newyorkengagementphotos" etc..

    I have both but didn't even think to search there. Thank you. I wish we could take our wedding photographer with us but those travel fees....woah! lol

    So my FH proposed at Niagra Falls! He hired Jessica Little Photography. She is on facebook and insta, not sure if she's on WW. We loved the work she did! And we loved working with her during the session.


    Also, FH was pleased with her customer service. He proposed in the winter and was concerned he would have to cancel the shoot due to weather and she was very flexible/understanding of his concerns.

    I live in NY and my photographer did an engagement shoot for me at the Highline in NYC. He is AMAZING!!! I don't know how much he would charge for just an engagement session but reach out! He's incredible and soo fun! He may be a little pricey BUT he's worth every penny and hes truly an artist.
