Honeymoon Packages for $4,000 or less? not in the Caribbean

dancingwiththekumars, on March 13, 2018 at 2:18 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 3

Has anyone been to Belize, Guatemala, or any other beach or eco-resort (NOT in the Caribbean)?

We'll be going on our honeymoon in late May. We originally thought Mediterranean, but it's not warm enough for us then. We're looking for somewhere by the beach, 85+ degrees, and with unique accommodations such as a beachfront villas or treehouses, etc.

We've been to a lot of Caribbean countries so we prefer somewhere else for our one and only honeymoon. We've already been to Costa Rica too, so that's out. Smiley sad

Thank you!

If you aren’t looking at the Carribean, distance is going to drive up your price. Depending on the cost of flights and the length of your honeymoon, you might be able to swing a Galapagos trip for under $4000. It has some unique accomodations, beaches, and warm weather year round. Hawaii is also a good option at this time of year. And of course there are tons of great islands in the Pacific and Indian oceans to choose from.

Not sure when you are going or if this is an option with length of stay, but we are going to Turks and Caicos for 6 nights and with flight it's $5,000.

What about the Pacific side of Mexico? Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Mazatlan.

I've heard Belize is nice but more geared towards the scuba diving set, not so much the beach loungers. Costa Rica would have been my first recommendation for you. Or delay for just a month or two and then hit up the Mediterranean.

I would 100% rather go to a place I've always wanted to, even if it meant I needed to wait a little longer. Honestly it might be nice to have a little time to just relax after the wedding, and not have to rush around getting packed and ready to leave.
