Honeymoon in Us?

Kimoanh, on April 2, 2022 at 12:58 AM Posted in Honeymoon 2 12
I will be getting married this November (2022). And we have not picked a place for our honeymoon. We both thought Japan (or Washington) because I love cherry blossom, but it’s not until March or April. What a good honeymoon destination for late November? I prefer to have it in the US. Is there a package? Website you sign up? I really hope it at least have a spa and massage, indoor pool or a pool in hotel/resort, yummy food, and fun actives or attractions would be nice.
Let me know where your planning your honeymoon, where you signed up or bought the deal!
What’s a reasonable cost to spend on honeymoon?I know it’s a lot of questions, any answer is appreciated!

Is there any area or place in particular that you are thinking of for eg: a beach, a forest, a city? Or are you just open to everything and anything? Smiley smile November will also be winter so do you like the snow or would you rather go to the West Coast and get some sun in California? Smiley smile

    I think I prefer temperature around 80’s- low 90’s
Beach would be nice, I probably won’t be swimming tho 😅, but for sure not into hiking.
I like activities like, swan boat, 1-2 day cruise, train rides, pedaling, lazy river, not dessert like.

    Hi Kim,

Have you thought about taking a longer cruise than a 1-2 day cruise? You get so much included and you could go to beaches and do all kinds of shore excursions Smiley smile. I'm a big fan of cruising. If you like train rides my husband and I took the Amtrak train from LA to Seattle and that was a great trip. We went in the sleeping carriages and they were great as they include meals and everything. I think you can go from San Diego up to Seattle. You could train from one city to another and then stop at each city for a while before training to another city. Smiley smile

We did a long weekend in Disney. They have all the things in your list (you don’t even have to go to the parks!)
We stayed at the boardwalk so it was a nice resort with a fun atmosphere. Close to lots of food. Super close at the Yatch club I believe they have a spa. We looked Into it. Prices were very reasonable, but their available times didn’t match our schedule 😞 Disney also offers mini golf, lots of shopping, resorts typically have activities during the day, at the boardwalk they have surrey bikes, and jellyrolls night club. The resorts also have pools and hottubs. They also do fireworks cruises near Magic Kingdom. In Florida the weather should be mild but still nice. My Inlaws live in Tampa and we visit for thanksgiving. The weather is always beautiful! I know Disney is not for everyone, but it offers most of what you’re looking for. It doesn’t have to be what most think of a “typical” family Disney trip. If your interested check out the Disney weddings website I believe they have honeymoon Information. Not sure if they offer any kind of packages.
Where ever you choose, I know you’ll enjoy yourselves.

I suggest Key Largo. There is a place called Bungalows. It’s all inclusive and very romantic.

Hawaii is a good mix of being in the US, but feeling like you are somewhere exotic. There's good hikes on most of the islands, and depending on where you stay, there can be good nightlife.

We found a really good deal on a cruise, so we're doing a 5 night cruise out of Orlando, with stops at Royal Caribbean's two private locations (CocoCay in the Bahamas and Labadee Haiti), so we'll get those beach/pool days with other excursion options if we want (zipline, waterpark, boat tours, jetski etc). It leaves two days after our wedding, so we'll still be able to spend time with our family that's in town before leaving for the trip. I think all in all we're spending less than $2000 total for the cruise (upgraded to ocean view balcony) and drink package and we're doing the zipline in Haiti. We'll likely pay to go to one of the specialty dining restaurants on board the ship one night, and I'm going to pay for a couples massage on board as a honeymoon gift too. But both of those will only add a couple hundred to the total.

I agree! Hawaii is a perfect place with great weather in November. Costco and Southwest have great travel packages including air, hotel, car rental and other perks. Costco also has great cruise packages if you go that route.

I would recommend Southern California such as Los Angeles or San Diego areas for west coast (warm weather) or Florida for east coast. Anywhere more north and it will be less than 70 degrees. If you want, you can also jut download to Mexico and visit Cabo. Nice weather, and beautiful beaches

Santa Barbara, CA is nice in November and it's very romantic! They have really cute hotels near the beach, and the town itself is charming, with great restaurants. San Diego is also a good one.
