Honeymoon in us

Erica, on November 20, 2023 at 6:03 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 10

Where are some cool places to honeymoon in the states in May??

For some reason, deciding where to honeymoon is the most stressful to me. I want to go with somewhere with reasonable prices and lots of things to see/explore/experience!

We went to California. I always wanted to go as I had never been. It was also my first time flying. We went to San Diego and LA. Things we did included going to the beach, visiting the best man who lives in San Diego, San Diego zoo, Sea World, Hollywood, and Disney. It was lot packed into a 6 day trip, but it was a lot of fun.

I second the suggestion of California. I would also add Hawaii, New Orleans and Chicago. And if you are the outdoorsy types, Utah and Colorado are great in the spring also.

If you are looking to visit the Southeast— Charleston, SC is wonderful as is Savannah, GA.

We went to Maine on our honeymoon, though it was in October. In May, I would think it would be before any large summer crowds. Lots of hiking, sailing, shopping, and historical sights to see!

New Orleans - Great food and music, plus you can explore the French Quarter. May is a lovely time to visit.

Seattle - Mountains, ocean, and city. Lots of outdoor activities like hiking plus culture.

Charleston, SC - Gorgeous historic city with Southern charm. Expect mild weather in May.

Yellowstone/Grand Teton - Iconic national parks; may see newborn animals. Camping could keep costs down.

Monterey, CA - Scenic coastal town, wine country, aquarium. Mild weather too.

Don't stress - you really can't go wrong exploring a new American destination together as a married couple. Focus on making memories. Best of luck choosing!

There are so many things to see/do in the US, It would depend on the things that you find fun. What is the top 5 places that you want to visit? What is his tip 5? Do any of them match? Are you looking for beaches, mountains, caves, wineries, ranches, gardens, geocaching, paranormal?

What we did was answer these questions and narrowed it down. Once we had it narrowed downit was much easier to navigate.
