Honeymoon in the us

Kaci, on February 26, 2020 at 10:04 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 13

Hi everyone!

We are getting married in May and we still haven't decided where we are going. With the Coronovirus going around we are wanting to stay in the US. we were maybe thinking the Grand Canyon but everything I have read is saying there's no where close to stay. I would live some suggestions for our honeymoon if possible! We are wanting somewhere warm but we are willing to go anywhere.

Thanks!

We opted for a week long cabin getaway in West Virginia at Golden Anchor Cabins. We are booking a train ride through Cass Scenic Railroad, going on a tour of the Seneca Caverns, taking a day trip to a local winery about an hour from our honeymoon cabin, and spending lots and lots of time in our private hot tub! LOL Smiley winking

If you want to see the Grand Canyon, consider staying in Sedona and doing a day trip from there.

That’s a good idea! Is there anything in Sedona that’s fun to do?

    Sedona is my vote!

There is so much to do there!

Pink jeep tours. Spa days. Great restaurants to go to too!

Sedona is gorgeous! Thats where we got engaged. Even if you're not a big hiker, I highly recommend doing a few, there is so much to see

Have you looked in the Flagstaff (AZ) or Sedona area?

I live in Flagstaff AZ, its about an 1.5-2 hour drive! And there's great things to do here in Flagstaff as well!! Sedona is 45 mins away so you're kinda of in the middle.

    There's always Disney!

We did Disney/Universal and had a great time.

That said, if you're concerned about the coronavirus, it's in the US, now, so travel might become iffy.
