Honeymoon in Puerto Rico, All Inclusive?

Wyndham Grand Rio Mar. We went for 5 days last summer and we loved it so much! It was fairly cheap since it was the summer. I happened to check their website a few weeks ago and it looks like they are reopened and repaired after the hurricanes.

I was considering a honeymoon in Puerto Rico myself but I wasn’t sure how everything is since the hurricane. I would highly suggest taking time in Old San Juan! My step mother was from there so I spent summers there. It’s old timey and super romantic!

My Fiance actually proposed on Isla Verde Beach the day before Hurricane Maria hit, we then went to Old San Juan and walked the Princess Walk. We did end up stuck in PR for 2 weeks after the hurricane hit at my future in laws in San Lorenzo, due to flights being cancelled over and over again. Old San Juan is where we plan to have the Wedding Ceremony! It is absolutely beautiful! Still trying to find the right venue for us for the reception, and decide if we want to Honeymoon there or go somewhere else.

Oh my goodness! You should look into the castle and see if they have space for you to do it there! It would be incredible! Or at least take some pics there! I think it’s 10$ to enter. La Concha Resort is a really nice hotel. Sheraton Old San Juan is right in old San Juan and close to the beach! That might be a good spot to look into as well.

We pushed our date back to Feb and none of my family will be attending so we have decided to elope on Old San Juan using Puerto Rico Destination Weddings - Ashley has been amazing so far!! I have never been to the Marriott, he had proposed in the Ocean, we stayed at the Hampton Inn for a few days and at his parents house further in land. Ee were my ESJ on the beach.
