When? Bali is still closed at least until February for tourist. Last Christmas it was full with national (local) tourist and many didn’t wear the mask correctly. By full, I mean no social distancing and a sea of people. Some places are so packed, I would be terrified in that situation. If you are talking for next year, well... we all hope we have the new normal everywhere by then.

It’s so dreamy to me! Especially if you love beaches in the ocean! There’s also the Maldives that is basically very similar to Bora-Bora except it’s a bit less in price. There is also Floreana island in the Galapagos! The seals literally sit on beach chairs with you at the resort LOL! Lots of snorkeling and exotic animals to see as well! I love talking honeymoons!

We stayed at Amora Ubud for our vacation a couple years ago— HIGHLY recommend! Also highly recommend Bali Customized Tours for adventures. We used them to go to the waterfall slides, Botanical Gardens, waterfall hikes, and Nusa Penida and we loved them! But definitely if you’re looking for a relaxing place, check out Amora Ubud. We plan on staying there again.

Ahh thanks for the update! My wedding won't be until fall 2022, so I'm thinking late 2022 to early 2023. Gosh that seems so far away lol.

Oh my gawd this is gorgeous! ahh! This is exactly the type of thing I want to do. Private beach/pool but I also want a lot of excursions like hiking to waterfalls and snorkeling and sight seeing/meeting fun animals Thanks so much for the suggestion!

Oh my gosh thank you so much!! I want to go to the waterfall slides! and Botanical gardens! Water fall hikes are exactly the type of romantic excursion I want. Ahh! Now I'm even more excited.

View Quoted Comment Yay!!! I’m glad I could help! I could honestly send you a million photos lol but this was where we stayed. Each room has its own private pool and an outdoor bathtub. For one of our last nights there we had a private candle lit dinner (it’s one of their “excursions” at the villa with our names written in petals 😍🥺) Everyone was sooo nice there, and extremely accommodating with dietary restrictions. This was a few years ago and we still miss it so much!

Wow - those pics are amazing!! Thank you - it sounds like the epitome of a romantic vacation. Definitely one of those experiences that you would think back on for years and years. Especially now when we can't travel for the foreseeable future haha.
