Honeymoon Help!!

Raven, on August 4, 2023 at 6:00 PM Posted in Honeymoon 1 6

I am going back and forth on the Honeymoon. We are already spending so much on the Wedding, I really don't want to break the bank. Right now I have decided on Bahamas, but are there any places Stateside you would recommend? I'm okay with non-conventional as well. It doesn't have to be a beach.

Hmm let's see there's wine county in California but that can be pretty pricey. Georgia, Nashville, South Carolina,New Orleans or the Florida keys are all great options. If you looking more for a city vibe Ny and Boston are fun. Have fun planning!

The mountains in NC are beautiful….Asheville is an especially popular place to visit.

I agree with Asheville, NC. Also Savannah GA, Charleston SC, the Florida Keys, New Orleans, San Antonio or Galveston TX. There's many great US options. Look around. Portland ME is also a beautiful area. Figure out what you want to do and pick a destination based on your vacation interests. Best of luck to you.

There’s also always the option of delaying your honeymoon so you have time to recover after the wedding! You can save up, get more leave from work, have something to look forward to planning after the wedding, etc.

We're having our honeymoon 6 months after the wedding to help build up our savings again. As for the US, the Finger Lakes in NY are really nice. Upstate Pennsylvania has some really nice hiking if you're into that. Niagara Falls, the US or Canada side, are also good options. If you're looking to go immediately after your wedding, DC could be good choice. The cherry blossoms are in bloom then and you could go to the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Consider checking out Charleston, South Carolina. It's got a blend of history, good food, and a lovely atmosphere for a unique Stateside honeymoon experience. Some other spots like Asheville, NC; Sedona, AZ; Lake Tahoe, CA; New Orleans, LA. have got some great outdoor and scenery atmosphere
