Honeymoon help: Sandals St. Lucia La Toc or Sandals Bahamas Emerald Bay

We will be going to LA Toc in July for our honeymoon. FHs friend went and said the food was delicious. The one downside I've seen a lot is that the water there tends to be rougher so the water isn't always 'open' for swimming or activities. But you can go to any of the 3 on St Lucia for the day, so if the beach at La Toc is closed you can be shuttled to another one!

Following as I've been very interested in La Toc as well.

We went Sandals Royal Bahamian in the Bahamas for our honeymoon last July. We had a great time. I would recommend emailing the resort to let them know that you will be on your honeymoon. We got a significant free room upgrade by doing that. The weather was beautiful. It was sunny and warm but not too hot. It rained on our last day but we were heading out anyway. I've heard that Emerald Bay is even nicer so I'm sure it is amazing.

We are going to royal bahamian this june. It's a shorter flight than any of the other sandals, and we didnt want to spend an entire day traveling.

We're doing La Toc! We got the butler level two story villa with a private pool. I can't remember what level it's technically called.

Hey, I didn't go to La toc, but we did st. Lucia for the honeymoon and it was so great. I loved that it was definitely a more adult crowd and there wasn't soon many just partiers or families.

We are going to La Toc in August and we can't wait!

I was just looking into both of these for our honeymoon in July!! I was sold on La Toc because they offered more activities then the Bahamas did.

St. Lucia is breathtaking. If you are interested in lush, tropical with the pitons in the background and fun stuff to do other than just staying at the resort, I'd recommend St. Lucia.

Hello!! I am in the same boat now... I am looking at Royal Bahamian in Bahamas or Regency La Toc in St. Lucia for our honeymoon June 2019 - all these ladies that posted last year, how were your honeymoons??? any comments?? which is better???

I stayed at the La Toc resort in St. Lucia. Loved it! No complaints...I had a club level room with a private soaking tub outside. I heard the butlers are not worth the price, except for reserving a beach chair for you. I recommend renting a cabana on the beach, having the candlelit dinner and the snorkeling excursion.
