Honeymoon Help! ( Sandals Resorts )

Lauren, on June 18, 2019 at 2:44 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 5

Hi All!

So me and my FH haven't even gotten a venue for our wedding as of yet. I'm that type of girl who can't wait for the vacation/honeymoon! We are planning an August wedding in Maine (originally September but hurricane season for honeymoons).

We obviously can't book as of yet but I'm looking for a good August all inclusive resort & adults only. We did look at Sandals Resorts- (they just look pricy) we have already been to Punta Cana ( he proposed there) and we want to check out somewhere different.

Our price range is between 5,000-6,000 can anyone tell me if they stayed with a Sandals Resort how the experience was and how much it cost? I really love the Sandals Resort in Barbados from the website, has anyone been there?

We are planning to go to Sandals Grenada in October 2019 for our honeymoon. I will probably post a review after we come back if you can wait to book until then. I think we booked ours about 9 months out.

Thank you Lauren! I can't even get a date picked currently so i'm sure i'll still be in the process of looking at honeymoons at that point. Hope you have an amazing time!

A girl I went to high school with is actually a Sandals consultant. I didnt know that was a thing, but it is. If you're wanting to learn about them, I'd probably suggest getting into contact with a Sandals Consultant. I believe Sandals pays their commission, not you, and they might be able to get you a better deal.

Yes, we booked ours through a consultant and got major perks, like spa credits and upgraded transportation.

August is still hurricane season FYI. I don’t have advice on a sandals resort but definitely get travel insurance if you aren’t already planning to.
