Honeymoon Destinations

Hello!
My fiancée and I get married in October this year. We are honeymooning right after and need to pick a place. I guess you could say we are being picky because this trip is a once in a life time possibly so we want to pick just right. We were thinking New Zealand but the weather in October doesn’t sound fantastic. I have a few other random ideas but looking to see what other thoughts or helpful research anyone else has tenor.gif

    We’re also getting married in October! We’re spending the first 3 nights of our honeymoon at Disney world and then going straight to the Dominican Republic to an all inclusive resort for 8 nights. It’s going to be amazing! We can play and have fun at the beginning and then have a week of relaxation!

    October in New Zealand is lovely! It’s their Spring- so temperatures are moderate, and everything is in bloom. If you aren’t looking for a tropical sort of destination, I would highly recommend NZ

    Wedding in November and honeymoon in April ( the best time to go Greece) we may go to Mexico after the wedding for a real like honeymoon

    Thank you. I saw the temperatures and was a little iffy. I’m not necessarily wanting 90° weather but I don’t want chilly and rain. LOL but spring I can handle.

    Hi there,

    My fiancee and I are getting married in October of this year as well. I completely agree with you on being undecided as to where to honeymoon as once in a lifetime. We were actually thinking Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas or even a Sandals Bahamas but all inclusive so that everything i included. A but pricey but worth it I would think...Good Luck!!!

    I went to Japan and it was amazing. Not sure how the weather there would be in october but Japan is like no other place in the world

    We are going to Greece (except in May). Shoulder season is supposed to be beautiful. I would highly recommend checking it out ☺️

    What type of place are you looking to go honeymoon at? Tropical, small island, big city, beaches, mountains ?

    All very good questions. We know we want warm. It does not HAVE to be tropical. But warm and not in the USA. Haha

    Are you interested in the Caribbean by any chance? Near the US but not in the US..except for the virgin islands and puerto rico lol..

    Awesome... it seems you're more sure about what you want to do than not...

    Thailand is a very unique / specific choice...so you seem more sure of where you want to go and what you'd want to experience.

    So why are you still a bit hesitant about going to thailand then?

    I think we were just being picky on all of our choices in fear that we may or may not pick a place that we regret later, for a honeymoon. It’s a big decision. Haha We might be moving the honeymoon to November. From what we’re researching, October is their rainy season.

    Greece! That’s where we are going! It’s far enough south that the weather will still be nice but a lot of the crowds will be gone.. especially in Santorini!
