Definitely check out Rainbow Gardens, we are getting married there on St Patty's 2019, and they have a Sunday special ! Sunday night, food and bar, dj, cake, photographer, basically everything besides florist for less than $10k. We are having 100 people for $8k. As for south of the strip, I don't know. There isn't very much south of the strip.

Your budget seems reasonable! Why not check out MGM and the big gorgeous hotels?? They have such affordable packages.

Yay for Vegas. What fun! I totally want to do a vow renewal there.

No it's stand alone, and the closest hotel is Palace, 1.5 miles. We are staying at the mirage which is about 10 minutes away.

Honestly there isn't much going on, on the south end of the strip. It's not that it's a bad area but hard to get to things. Mid strip and North make it easier to walk to places (and if you want pictures at more then 1 location). If you are looking for a 4 hour reception for under $10k though you might want to look at little chapels not connected to a hotel (like chapel of the flowers) we got married at Mandalay Bay I think $10k would have probably been about bare minimum to start with a wedding and reception.

However we did our own make shift reception in a suite and then dancing on the 'disco party bus' kept the total under $7k and our guests had SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Also mid-week will be cheaper then a weekend wedding (Hello Monday weddings hahahaha!!)
