What is your budget and where are you located (in terms of flights). Typically Mexico is pretty cheap.

There are a ton of beautiful beaches on the west coast if you’re trying do something more adventurous and private. California & Oregon are your best bets for beach weddings that are more reasonable cost-wise. The landscape is to die for and you could try finding an AirBNB near the beach for a nice vacation.

Oregon and California only cost the price of officiant and license. Permit price for the beach varies by location but not that expensive. Hawaii is extremely expensive and Mexico/overseas is not feasible for everyone. Also, you would have to be legally married in the US before or after the trip out of the country.

How about San Diego? Beautiful weather/beaches...


Hawaii is too expensive and Mexico (Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun) is too hot in June (but great prices on a budget).

If your heart isn't set on going right after your wedding, try looking up prices of flights and hotels at different times of the year to find the least expensive times to travel. My fiance and I are waiting a few months to do our honeymoon as the cost was a lot less than going right away!
