Help with venue and postponing!

Is there a reason they will not let you pick a date for next year? I read so many other people stating that the venues will not allow them to book next year. That to me is crazy! They already have your money, why not let you feel comfortable and move it to next year if you want?! Just seems silly to me! I think October might be ok in regards to the virus, my opinion only, I think we will get that second large hit a little later in the year November even December. But I know it all is worrisome, until there is a virus even next year can be shaky as well! I wish you the best! I hate that we have to stress about this during what is suppose to be the happiest time of our lives! Sending love and just trust your gut on what to do!

I should clarify! They are letting me pick up through March. From what my coordinator gathered, the venue is not giving 2020 brides access to book in May/June. Those months are more sought after and will be offered to 2021 brides only. I just want a later month (May/June) as weather here in Michigan finally warms up in these months, it's why we picked June in the first place.

Hi Niccole! Did you ask them what the next steps would be if you take the October date but there is a stay-at-home order or restrictions on social gatherings? If you would be able to reschedule again without additional penalty then that would be a big incentive to take the available October date!
