Help with bridal bouquet

Jennifer, on April 13, 2024 at 8:43 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 9
Hi all I am getting married on June 1, 2024. It will be a small backyard ceremony and reception at my future inlaws home. We decided that our theme is a romantic theme. There will only be 15-20 people max not planning on having a wedding party so I'm only doing 1 bouquet for myself. We are also not doing anything with another floral decorating only what is naturally in the yard. I have also decided to go with fake flowers and want to make it myself. I'm having trouble figuring out what style bouquet and colors to go with my gown. I have enclosed a photo of my dress for inspiration. TIA.Help with bridal bouquet 1

Hi Jennifer! I have a few questions that will help me determine what kind of flowers you should have:
    1. What's your favorite color?
    2. What kind of natural scenery are you near? Are you near the beach/mountains/some other kind of nature?3. What's the climate like in your area? Hot or cold? Rainy or dry?

Your dress and the natural setting make me picture something like this.

I live in CT so weather is always tricky but usually by the end of May it's sunny and warmer (70's-80's). This will be a back yard wedding at my future inlaws they have a beautiful landscaped yard. ( I included some pictures for ideas). I was thinking I love cream colors and like pastel colors pink,purple,blue.. are my favorite colors.Help with bridal bouquet 3

With that description, hydrangeas sound lovely! They come in a variety of pinks, purples, and blues, and they grow during the summer. They're perfect for that garden vibe! I'll try to find some good inspiration pics

Given the texture of your dress, your natural setting, and penchant for romance, how about a single-varietal, wildflower look? For white: trillium, wood anemone, black eyed anemone. For pastel shades: lilacs, hyacinth, pansies.

Best wishes. I picture a small bouquet since fresh is not important to you, but you can certainly go large. Sky's the limit with choosing faux flowers. Another option if you like white flowers, you can add a long, colored ribbon draping down from your bouquet. If there's a breeze, it will blow in the wind for a touch of whistful romance.

Wow your venue and your dress are gorgeous! I would see like a hand tied bouquet, and I like the trailing ribbon idea!
