Help! Struggling to find a honeymoon spot!

Future Mrs. Lowder, on July 9, 2020 at 9:14 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 9
Hey y’all,

Before I start this post I just want to make a disclaimer that this post is not looking for opinions. I’ve heard it all before. I’m simply looking for help finding a spot. Thanks!
So FH and I are really struggling to find a spot to honeymoon. We were going to go to Colorado but I’m worried about getting a rental car. So, we decided to stay closer to home and try the Asheville area. We are wanting a cabin or something similar to that but I’m having no luck. We don’t like the idea of a hotel or anything with lots of people around. I thought about camping but December is a little cold for that. Our main problem is the minimum renter age for places being 25. We are both 18 and this is posing a huge problem for us. Anyone know of any spots that allow younger renters? Thanks y’all!

Have you tried Airbnb? Their age limit is 18 and it looks like they have tons of options in Asheville.

Why not go to a B&B, they're quaint and rarely a lot of people because there are so few rooms for guests. All your meals would be outside of the B&B less breakfast. Get it close to town and you can enjoy the surrounding area by foot.

We are looking to go to Asheville too, though in Nov! Right now we are planning to stay in a hotel though it that doesn't work out our next choice would be an airbnb. I am very excited as it is a fun area.

Hey! I live in N.C. If you’re looking for something even more small town or remote, I’ve heard wonderful things about Blowing Rock, NC. It’s a little bit smaller of a town and near Asheville. Also, keep it mind it could snow in the mountains that time of year, so it can be tricky driving if you’re not used to it. Just depends on what you’d like to do with your time I suppose!
