Help on what color markers?

Here is our sign board but we are having issues on what color or colors to use that wont look to kiddish or "to much" on it. Any advice would be great!

    I think I would go with white because it would go with my home decor best to display it. Think about the room and wall where you want to put it long term and what colors are there or what colors you want to bring out. Good luck!

    I would suggest whitewash for the background and a heather grey for your monogram. It would look really good!
